A NOTE FROM NATALIE
The recipes I post on Butter & Whisk come from a variety of sources. Some of them are family recipes, some are from cookbooks, some were found online, and a few may be genuine originals.

Without a larger budget and more spare time, it's hard to create original recipes (especially when baking, since that is truly a science). That's why I like to take existing ones and give them my own twist. This is how most of these recipes on the blog have come to exist.
​
To me, this blog is the diary I'm keeping to record my kitchen adventures. I'm not a pro, which is why these recipes aren't all originals. If I could do that, I most definitely would! But for now, I'm just a twenty-something trying to be better in the kitchen.
